Privacy policy

B2Bgeek helps you research advertising audiences. We work with aggregate audience data, not individual profiles. This policy explains what we collect about you as a customer and how we handle it.

What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run your account:

  • Account details: your name, work email, and company.
  • Usage data: the audiences and reports you create inside the app.
  • Connection metadata: the LinkedIn ad account you connect, so we can fetch aggregate insights on your behalf.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor — we never store full card numbers.
  • Website analytics: pages visited on our public site, the campaign or referring site you arrived from, and whether you started a trial. This is collected against a random id stored in your browser, not your name. Once you sign in, we link that id to your account so we can see how people find us; you can ask us to break that link at any time, and deleting your account removes it.

Cookies and tracking

Our public site uses three categories of cookies and browser storage. Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you accept them — nothing in those categories loads on your first visit, and refusing changes nothing about how the site works. You can review or change your choice at any time from the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer, and your choice is remembered for 12 months. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat that as a refusal automatically.

  • Strictly necessary (always on): keeps you signed in, remembers your cookie choice, and counts visits against a random id. This measurement is first-party and anonymous — no name, no email, no third parties, nothing shared for advertising.
  • Analytics (your choice): Google Analytics — _ga and _ga_* cookies, up to 2 years, used in aggregate to see which pages people read.
  • Advertising (your choice): the LinkedIn Insight Tag — li_fat_id, li_sugr and bcookie, up to 2 years, used to measure our LinkedIn ads and show ads to people who visited. LinkedIn sets these itself, so withdrawing consent stops new ones but cannot delete ones already set; clear cookies in your browser to remove those.

What we don't collect

We do not build profiles of individual LinkedIn members. Audience insights are aggregate and respect LinkedIn's privacy floor — small segments are never broken down to a level that could identify a person.

How we use your data

To provide and improve the service, fetch the audience insights you request, communicate with you about your account, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your data.

Sharing

We share data only with the sub-processors needed to run the service (see the Sub-processors page) and where required by law. LinkedIn data is fetched under your connected account's permissions.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time. Reach us through the contact page on this site and we'll action it promptly — and always within the timelines required by applicable law (including GDPR for EU/UK users).

Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active, then delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period after closure, unless we're legally required to retain it.
